Russia’s MTS ended the second quarter with 2,835,000 residential subscribers to its fixed TV services.
This, according to the company’s latest set of results, was up from the 2,775,000 posted in the corresponding period in 2017.
Its residential fixed telephony and internet subscriber totals were meanwhile 3,145,000 (3,291,000) and 3,145,000 (2,907,000) respectively.
The MGTS (B2C and B2B) – GPON subscriber total was 1,894,000 (1,782,000).
MTS notes that its shares of the B2C broadband and pay-TV markets in Moscow reached 36% and 40.9% respectively at the end of Q2.
MTS revenues in its home market Russia were R106.4 billion (€1.4 billion) in Q2, or 7.4% more than in the corresponding period in 2017.
OIBDA was R51.1 billion (+21.4%) and net profit R14.7 billion (-0.6%).
