The Bulgarian incumbent Vivacom saw its IPTV subscriber base grow by 15.6% in the year to June 30.
In its latest set of results, the company says that at the end of H1 almost half (47.3%) of its pay-TV subscribers opted for IPTV.
Vivacom also saw its fixed broadband subscribers total grow by 9% to 492,000 in the year to June 30.
Over half of fixed broadband subscribers used high-speed access via its fibre-optic network, which already covered 1.15 million households across the country.
Vivacom had revenues of nearly BGN453 million (€231.6 million) in H1, or 4.8% more than in the same period last year. Its EBITDA grew by 5.8% to BGN170.5 million.
Capital expenditure in H1 amounted to BGN65 million, with 66% of the total focused on the development of technology infrastructure.
