Fox Sports is breaking the Dutch media law by broadcasting two football matches of Feyenoord and Vitesse on it encrypted channels Fox Sports 1 and 2.
Dutch media stipulates that all matches by Dutch clubs in the Europa League and Champions League must be broadcast on free-to-view channels.
Last week Fox Sports 1 broke the law by transmitting Vitesse – FC Basel, this week matches by Feyenoord and Vitesse are also broadcast on encoded channels.
“They must broadcast the matches on their open channel or open up the pay channel to everyone,” according to spokesman Sander van Dam of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
Media watchdog Commissariaat voor de Media can issue warnings and fines to broadcasters that break the rules.
