All Media Baltics has rebranded its premium sports channel Viasat Sport Baltic as TVPlay Sports.
Mediasat reports that the channel will offer 3,200 hours of live broadcasts for the coming season, including the UEFA Super Cup to be held this week (August 15) in the Estonian capital, Tallinn.
Quoting TVPlay Sports programme director Tsirtsenis, it adds that alongside the rebranding the channel has changed its design and now also has a Russian version.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Modern Times Group (MTG) sold its Baltic broadcasting businesses to Providence Equity Partners for €100 million in October last year.
All Media Baltics also rebranded Viasat’s premium film channels ViP last year.
