Sports streaming service DAZN will continue to show the matches of the first Italian football league Serie A live in Germany and Austria.
The subsidiary of UK-based Perform Group renewed its cooperation with Serie A for the next three seasons; financial details were not disclosed.
Football fans can thus, for example, see the eagerly awaited first appearance of Cristiano Ronaldo at his new club Juventus Turin on DAZN.
“The Italian league is an important part of our football offer. Together with the Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1 and the highlight videos of all German Bundesliga matches just 40 minutes after the final whistle, DAZN is showing all major European top football leagues,” said Thomas de Buhr, Executive Vice President of DAZN in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
“From this season, 110 UEFA Champions League live matches and all 205 UEFA Europa League games will join the line-up, making DAZN the top site for football fans,” added de Buhr.
