Poland’s leading alternative telco Netia gained 4,000 TV RGUs in the second quarter, ending June with a total of 196,000.
All told, 53% of broadband customers using the company’s own network subscribed to its TV services.
Netia has 1.453 million RGUs in its B2C sector at the end of Q2, of which 737,000 (51%) received services from its own network. Although it gained around 7,000 ultra-fast (NGA) in Q2, it lost 1,000 RGUs on its own network and 8,000 on those owned by others during the period.
The number of RGUs per subscriber rose to 1.65, while ARPU remained at PLN56 (€13).
Netia, which is backed by Cyfrowy Polsat, notes that TV ARPU grew by 7.5pp since the start of the year, with TV penetration amounting to 47%.
The company had consolidated revenues of PLN343 million and consolidated EBITDA of close to PLN12 million in the second quarter.
Its net income amounted to PLN12 million.
