Russia’s Rostelecom ended the second quarter with 10 million subscribers to its pay-TV services.
This was 5% more than in the corresponding period in 2017 and 1% more than three months earlier.
Of the total, just over half (5.1 million) were for its IPTV services, or 11% more than in Q2 2017 and 2% more than in Q1 2018.
Rostelecom saw its MVNO subscriber total double to 1 million in the year to June 30, while the total number of internet subscribers rose by 2% to 13 million.
Its B2C internet subscriber base amounted to 12 million (+1% year-on-year), of which 66% (7.9 million, up 6% year-on-year) were connected to the company’s fibre-optic network.
Rostelecom’s revenues in Q2 were R77,365 million (€1,052 million), or 3% more than in the same period last year.
OIBDA was R23,659 million (-4%) and net income R3,094 million (+9%).
