The music channel Power TV has made its international debut in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Parabola reports that the Czech version became available on August 1 on the regional DTT multiplex (RS8), which is operated by the national transmission company CRa and covers the largest cities in the Czech Republic.
Furthermore, working in partnership with its Slovak counterpart Towercom, CRa will distribute Power TV FTA on the Astra 3B satellite. This will make the channel available not only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia but also throughout most of Europe.
Power TV is operated Michal Winnicki Entertainment (MWE), a Polish company whose proprietary channels, all of which are offered in HD in Poland, also include Adventure HD, Nuta.TV HD and Top Kids HD.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, MWE established a branch in Prague this April at the start of its international expansion.
