The board of the Kosovan public broadcaster RTK has announced the death of Adem Demaci, who was its first chairman.
In a statement expressing its condolences to his family, friends and associates, it says that, “he made a big contribution the establishment and development of RTK.
“His work and contribution to the nation and institutions of the Republic of Kosovo will never be forgotten. He was and will remain a generous guide to how to work for the country”.
Demaci was also formerly a politician and human rights activist.
