MTG has recorded increased profits of 12%, despite costs relating to its failed merger with TDC, and ongoing separation.
The Stockholm-based company recorded revenues of SEK 5.010 billion.
Nordic Entertainment, which officially split from MTG saw continued growth for its Viaplay and Viafree streaming services, while benefitting from its exclusive coverage of the Ice Hockey World Championship.

MTG is now waiting on its largest shareholder Kinnevik to distribute its MTG shares to its own shareholders before moving forward with the listing process.
