Elisa has been confirmed to be the leading provider of pay-TV (cable, IPTV and terrestrial) services in Estonia.
Data produced by the Technical Surveillance Authority (TJA) shows that it ended Q1 with 202,000 customers, compared to Telia’s 199,000, STV’s 86,000 and other operators’ 13,000.
All told, there were 459,865 pay-TV subscribers at the end of the first quarter.
Elisa gained 25,000 subscribers in the year to March 31.
Its subscriber total as of March 31 last year was 177,000, or the same as Telia’s.
STV claimed 88,000 and other operators 12,000.
