Poland’s Cyfrowy Polsat has signalled its intention to appeal against a ruling on uncollected tax totalling PLN24.3 million (€5.6 million) plus interest.
In a statement, it says that its management board has been notified by the Customs and Tax Office in Krakow upholding a previous decision, dated February 15,2018, determining the amount of tax liability from uncollected withholding corporate income tax in the year 2012.
Cyfrowy Polsat adds that it does not agree with the decision and intends to lodge an appeal at the Voivodship Administrative Court in Krakow.
It also says that that it does not intend to create any provisions encumbering its financial results.
