Portugal’s communication regulator has told MEO to reduce its wholesale DTT prices.
Anacom has instructed the telecoms company to reduce its price it charges television companies RTP, SIC and TVI by 15.16% per Mbps.
The regulator’s draft decision will now be subject to a prior hearing and public consultation for a period of 30 working days.
Anacom says the current price structure between MEO and the TV companies exceeds the price limit put forward in the tender for the Mux A licence.
EO is required to implement the new prices within 10 working days following notification of a final decision.
