Greece’s Cosmote TV has signed a multiyear partnership extension with the NBA.
As a results of the enhanced agreement, it will be able to air more NBA matches on Cosmote Sport channels, and all games will also be available on demand through the Cosmote TV Go and Cosmote Replay TV services. Cosmote TV subscribers will have access to over 250 live broadcasts a year, as well as daily action throughout the season.
Commenting on the extension, Dimitris Michalakis, Cosmote TV executive director, said: “We are delighted to announce the renewal of our agreement with NBA for the exclusive broadcasting of NBA games in Greece on Cosmote TV, with enhanced content rights. Along with our exclusive partnership with Panathinaikos Superfoods, Olympiacos and AEK for their home matches in the Greek Championship and the greatest European tournaments, Cosmote Sport channels offer more than 1,000 hours of live basketball action per year”.

Cosmote TV operates a total of 15 channels. Its eight sports channels offer over 6,300 live broadcasts per year, and along with Cosmote Sport Highlights HD feature major events in football, basketball, tennis, volley, handball and motorsports.
