Home-shopping channel 1-2-3.tv can now be received via DVB-T2 throughout Germany.
Like the two other shopping channels QVC and HSE24, the channel is distributed unencrypted in qHD format (“quarter HD”) which corresponds with a quarter of HD resolution and provides SD video quality.
With the latest addition, the commercial TV channel platform Freenet TV operated by Media Broadcast on the DVB-T2 network is now fully occupied.
The last vacant HD channel space was split into two qHD slots: One is occupied by 1-2-3.tv, the other one is used by Media Broadcast’s parent company Freenet for the distribution of its own shopping channel Freenet Shopping.
