Roman Karz, former deputy managing director and vice president finance & operations, will assume the newly created position of general manager of Fox Networks Group Germany with immediate effect.
In addition to his duties as managing director Germany, the 41-year-old will take over the affiliate distribution division which includes the development of pay-TV channels FOX, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild and Baby TV.
Karz will continue to report directly to Marco de Ruiter, managing director and executive vice president Benelux & Germany of Fox Networks Group.
“Roman has been an integral part of our management team for years. I am therefore very pleased to hand over the German operational management to Roman. Together with the German team, he will continue to expand all our brands and continuously promote our strong position in the German market,” said de Ruiter.
Karz joined Fox Networks Group Germany in mid-2012. His previous positions include fashion company Escada, where he worked in international accounting for three years, and IT consulting firm Capgemini.
