Belgian cable operator Telenet has appointed Erik Van den Enden as the new Chief Finance Officer as of August 16.
He will join the senior leadership team and report to John Porter, CEO at Telenet.
Erik Van den Enden (39) has over 15 years of financial experience in the fast-moving consumer goods and telecom sector. Erik currently works for AB InBev as VP Finance Transformation and Carve-Outs.
Prior to starting at AB InBev in 2007, Erik Van den Enden worked for three years at Telenet as interconnect manager and product manager of residential internet and telephony.
“We’re delighted to be able to recruit Erik Van den Enden as the new CFO of Telenet. With his experience of various aspects of financial management, both in an FMCG company and in telecom, Erik is the ideal candidate to lead our financial department,” commented John Porter, CEO of Telenet.
“Erik has proved at AB InBev that he can realize major integration projects and has a focus on operational efficiency. After 11 years, he’s returning to Telenet, where we still have the same ‘can do’ mentality as in those days. Erik will certainly recognise this again. I’m really looking forward to working with Erik.”
