Akta Group, which operates the largest independent cable company in Romania, had a combined turnover of RON228.1 million (€50.1 million) in 2017.
According ZF, quoting data provided by the Ministry of Finance, the figure was 3% higher than the previous year.
Akta encompasses Digital Cable Systems (DCS) and Akta Telecom. While both businesses grew in 2017, the latter (7.3%) posted the higher rate.
DCS had total net loses of RON14.4 million, or 34% less than in the previous year, but the group as a whole saw its losses increase by 13.7% to RON151.6 million.
