German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland will show science-fiction movies 24 hours per day on a new pop-up channel from July 27 to August 5, 2018.
The highlight on Sky Cinema Sci-Fi HD will be the German TV premiere of the blockbuster Blade Runner 2049 with Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling on July 29. With Sky Q, the film can be seen in Ultra HD quality.
The channel, which temporarily replaces Sky Cinema Hits, will also show 28 other films of the genre including Blade Runner, Star Wars: Rogue One, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Terminator 3, Arrival, Passengers, Life and Elysium.
A large share of the movies on Sky Cinema Sci-Fi HD will also be available on demand at Sky Go and Sky Ticket.
