The council at the Croatian regulator HAKOM has chosen Miran Gosta as the new acting director of its Technical Services Directorate.
Commenting on the move, it says that Gosta “knows the trends, opportunities and challenges in the electronic communications market and is an expert with more than 15 years of experience in regulatory affairs. He has demonstrated organizational skills in numerous projects, among other things he has participated in the implementation of the transition to digital television broadcasting, the preparation and implementation of projects funded from EU funds, and in particular in international negotiations on the allocation of RF spectrum”.
HAKOM adds that Mario Weber has been dismissed from the Director’s Office in accordance with the Electronic Communications Act.
It also says that the HAKOM council will announce a public call for the appointment the director of HAKOM within 30 days.
