Ziggo customers can download most movies and series from the Movies & Series (XL) package to their smartphone or tablet.
The Ziggo Go app allows these downloads to be viewed anywhere in the world without an internet connection.
Content can be downloaded on up to two devices, including HBO titles, and will be available for a maximum of 30 days. Once viewing of the download has started, it will be saved for two days.
This feature is available for smartphones and tablets running on Android 4.4 or higher or iOS 10.0 or higher. Later, the function will also be added to the Windows 10 version of the app.
Customers with the Ziggo GO app can use the download button to see which films and series can be downloaded. A WiFi or 3G/4G Internet connection is required for downloading.
As of April 12, it is also possible to use the Ziggo Go app in the EU as well, as is customary in the Netherlands with an internet connection. This applies to live TV, Replay and Movies & Series (XL). Customers must have the app (iOS, Android and Win10) version of 1 April or later installed to allow viewing through the EU.
