Take-up of DVB-T2 is growing in the Czech Republic, with 7% of households having already adopted the standard.
According to data produced by Nielsen Admosphere for the Association of Television Organisations (ATO), the overwhelming majority(6%) access DVB-T2 services via TV and the remainder (1%) a set-top box.
However, when questioned one in nine households were not sure if they were receiving DVB-T2 services.
Terrestrial remains the most popular was of receiving TV in the Czech Republic, with 52% of households owning at least one set through which they watch terrestrial channels. Satellite reception is in second place (2%), followed by cable (19%) and IPTV (7%).
