Stoneroos shows EPGdata.tv at ANGA COM

June 11, 2018 21.27 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Hilversum-based Stoneroos is attending ANGA COM for the first time and among the products it will showcase are enriched EPG data for Live TV and VOD, and the EPGdata Manager.

“Through years of experience in designing and developing TV applications and TV guides we have learned the importance of good metadata. A TV product stands or falls with the quality of its data. Metadata drives every functionality: Home screen, TV Guide, Series linking, Recommendations, Search, On Demand, Startover TV, Catch-up TV and more,” according to the company.

EPGdata from Stoneroos delivers millions of homes with enriched TV data, as well as with accompanying pictures. At ANGA COM, the company also showcases the EPGdata Manager, a unique, easy-to-use and effective SaaS solution to import, enrich, add images and export programme data to multiple destinations.

The company’s EPGdata Manager is an online tool to aggregate and enrich EPGdata. It is available as Software as a Service (SaaS) and consists of four components. Import and process all kinds of file formats, from Word to XML with the Importer. Enrich data with extra programme information using the Editor. The ImageDatabase helps to add images to EPGs and makes sure the images are shown properly on all devices, regardless of size or ratio. Use the EPGdata Manager Exporter to export enhanced data in any format, to any platform and at any time. All in a user-friendly, intuitive web interface.

Stoneroos and EPGdata are at ANGA COM Hall 7, stand B105
