The Polish public broadcaster TVP has made its thematic channel TVP Sport HD available to terrestrial viewers.
TVP Sport HD is being distributed on the third multiplex (MUX3) and has become the first sports channel in Poland to be offered terrestrially. It also continues to be distributed by cable and satellite.
TVP Sport HD will provide viewers with around 500 hours of coverage of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, which kicks off next Thursday (June 14).
Alongside this change, TVP has removed its entertainment channel TVP Rozrywka from MUX3 and it can now only be received via cable and satellite.
