Vodafone is set to enter the fixed-mobile market in Romania before it completes the acquisition of UPC Romania next year.
ZF reports that this could come as soon as this autumn following an agreement with Telekom Romania that gives it access to the latter’s fibre-optic network.
It adds that talks between the two parties began last year and the agreement is similar to one already in place between Orange and Telekom.
This allowed the latter to launch fixed-mobile offers in several urban locations in Romania in late 2016.
