UPC Hungary opts for Agama

June 5, 2018 09.35 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

UPC Hungary has selected Agama’s video assurance platform for its head-end and network.

Commenting on the development, Tibor Szabadszallasi, video manager at UPC, said: “By choosing Agama’s modern, software-based solution, we are able to get great support for both automated monitoring as well as visual inspection. We now have a real-time view of the delivery chain with key metrics directly available for our services, from the head-end and through the network”.

Tibor Temesi at Silicon Computers added: “As a long-time Agama partner, we are thrilled to support the deployment of the Agama solution at UPC Hungary”.

Mikael Dahlgren, CEO at Agama Technologies, said: “It is always a pleasure to design quality assurance solutions together with operators with as high ambitions as UPC Hungary. We feel honoured to have been selected by them and are really looking forward to our collaboration.”

UPC Hungary provides services to 1.8 million households in nearly 350 settlements. It currently has over 855,000 residential and business customers.
