The Bulgarian telco Mtel has been rebranded A1 Bulgaria.
Quoted by Novinite, its executive director Alexander Dimitrov said that it also plans to launch a number of new innovative services, some of which will be available for the first time in the country. They include its own line in smartphones and a music streaming platform similar to Spotify.
A1 Bulgaria is part of the A1 Telekom Austria Group, whose other interests in the region are located in Belarus (velcom), Croatia (Vipnet), Slovenia (A1 Slovenia), Serbia (Vip mobile) and Macedonia (one.Vip).
The group’s portfolio includes voice telephony, high-speed internet and multimedia services and high-end, data and online payment solutions.
