The Russian cable operator ER Telecom, which uses the brand name Dom.ru, saw its active B2C subscriber total grow by 10% in the year to March.
According to Comnews, the figure stood at 6.7 million at the end of Q1, boosted by acquisitions that have seen the company strengthen its presence in the Irkutsk, Tomsk and Ulyanovsk regions and expand its B2C activities to the Khabarovsk territory and Republic of Buryatia.
ER Telecom had revenues of R9.35 billion (€127.4 million) in Q1, or 17% more than in the same period last year.
EBITDA was 21% higher at R2.9 billion and its net profit R467 million.
ER Telecom sees one of its main achievements in Q1 as being the signing of an agreement with the company Actility to deploy a LoRaWAN (Internet of Things) network throughout Russia.
