German DTH satellite platform HD+ has won commercial TV channel Tele 5 as a new content delivery partner for its Ultra HD channel UHD1.
Tele 5 will contribute its new series Skandal – Vorklappe mit Oskar Roehler. The cinematic discussion between journalist Michael Blessing and screenwriter and director Oskar Roehler accompanies the new film series Skandal – Filme, die Geschichte schrieben.
Roehler (pictured), himself known for provocative cinema, explains why the films made headlines at the time before viewers can get an idea of them for themselves a few days later on Tele 5.
The series will start on UHD1 on May 17, 2018 at 22.00 CET with Skandal – Vorklappe mit Oskar Roehler: Augen der Angst. The collaboration with HD+ marks the first time that content from Tele 5 can be seen in Ultra HD quality.
For reception of UHD1, viewers need DTH satellite reception via Astra (19.2° East), an Ultra HD TV set, an HD+ Ultra HD receiver, an HD+ module or an HD+ TV key as well as a subscription to an HD+ channel package.
