Workers at Al Jazeera in London have secured a new pay deal after four years of pay freezes.
The two-year offer of 6% has been backdated to 1 January with a further 3% rise from 2019.
Unions BECTU and the NUJ are running consultative ballots of their members with a recommendation to vote yes.
The breakthrough came after intense negotiations at the conciliation service ACAS after planned strike action on May 9 members.
