content4tv secures capital and eyes acquisition targets

May 9, 2018 14.24 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

German TV channel carriage rights provider content4tv has completed the second round of seed investment collection among the existing investors, thereby securing further capital for growth.

“The investors are pleased about the successes achieved so far and will continue to accompany the company on its exciting journey,” said Helmut Kohl, Managing Partner and Investor Relations Manager of content4tv.

In addition to organic growth, the company also focuses on possible takeover targets. “The capital we have raised also gives us sufficient scope to make one or another strategic acquisition,” said Kohl.

content4tv provides municipal utility companies, fibre-optic network operators, city carriers, IPTV providers, cable operators and the housing industry with redistribution rights for TV channels (linear, multiscreen, on-demand). The partners receive all rights from a single source, independent of the form of technical reception and carriage of the channels. As a pure B2B player, content4tv does not compete with network operators for customers.
