German media company Pantaflix is expanding the management of its wholly owned subsidiary Pantaflix Technologies.
Christoph Urban will head the company as Managing Director with immediate effect. With the former German director of internet TV provider Magine TV, Pantaflix intends to push ahead with the international expansion of its video-on-demand platform (VOD).
Before joining Magine TV, which is currently repositioning itself in Germany, Urban was Head of Marketing at Rakuten Germany and Head of Digital Marketing at Saturn International. He gained international experience as Director Marketing & Content for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at Fox Interactive Media and as Head of Digital at MTV Networks.
“Pantaflix’s approach to making content globally available will revolutionise the VOD market. I look forward to being part of this exciting development and using my expertise to help further expanding the global VOD business,” said Urban.
