The Slovak public broadcaster RTVS has introduced an HbbTV service to cover the Ice Hockey World Championship, which is currently taking place in Denmark.
In a statement, RTVS says that the service is being produced in cooperation with the national transmission company Towercom. It includes for the first time such features as time-shift, which allows viewer to play back programmes up to 24 hours, and a seven-day archive.
The service allows viewers to watch all 64 hockey matches on the official hokey.rtvs.sk site.
