Slovakia’s Antik Telecom and Antik Technology have put forward a unique solution for distributing their HD and Ultra HD TV channel offer to viewers in the Czech Republic.
Parabola reports that the solution, which was revealed at the KKTS 2018 conference in the city of Olomouc, involves the use of satellite and terrestrial DVB-T2 receivers supporting 4K/Ultra HD resolution and the HEVC/H.265 codec.
They come alongside a wholesale commercial TV offer designed initially for wireless network operators.
End users will see terrestrial, satellite and internet channels combined into a single menu.
