Sowers will lead the firm’s expansion and business development drive in the North American pay-TV/OTT personalised content discovery and viewer analytics market.
Sowers is most well-known for his nearly five-year tenure as Digitalsmiths’ vice president of sales where he led the execution of their tier-one video service provider sales strategy from inception through Digitalsmiths’ acquisition by Tivo. He has over 15 years’ experience selling emerging technologies into leading media & entertainment companies. Prior to Digitalsmiths, Sowers was a key contributor in two other high-growth businesses: Netopia and Gomez.
