TalkTalk has introduced its new ultrafast broadband service across a number of towns and cities.
The Faster 150 Fibre (100 Mbps) and Faster 300 Fibre (300 Mbps) Fixed Price Plans take advantage of G.fast technology provided by Openreach. They represent an uplift of 30 times that of TalkTalk’s standard broadband.
G.fast technology delivers much higher speeds over shorter distances in areas where there is Fibre to the Cabinet.
The initial areas are Bath, Cheltenham, Cambridge, Derby, Edinburgh, Gillingham, High Wycombe, Brighton & Hove, Luton, St. Austell and Swansea. Its planned to expand the service to other areas later.
TalkTalk is promising unlimited usage with the price fixed for the duration of the contract.
Faster 150 Fibre is available at £40 a month for 18 or 24 months; Faster 300 Fibre at £50 with the same contract durations.
