The Croatian incumbent Hrvatski Telekom (HT) has broadcast the country’s top football derby Hadjuk Split v Dinamo Zagreb in 4K.
According to the company, this is the first time that the derby has been shown in 4K resolution, adding that it was also available to viewers in SD and HD.
The derby was shown on the Arena Sport 3 channel on HT’s service MAXtv.
HT viewers can currently watch 4K channels, including Fashion TV, by purchasing its 4K package and an Android STB.
Reception is through HT’s Gigabit service, which is based on TeraStream technology.
