The Canal+ Group supervisory board has unanimously appointed Maxime Saada chairman of the group’s managing board.
In this capacity, he will head all of the group’s operations.
Saada succeeds Jean-Christophe Thiery, who is appointed chairman of the supervisory board, replacing Vincent Bolloré.
Saada graduated from the Institute of Political Studies in Paris and holds an MBA from HEC. After working at DATAR and McKinsey & Company, he joined Canal+ Group in 2004, where he successively was head of strategy, marketing, sales, distribution and content.
Meanwhile, after leaving the Ministry of Finance, Thiery, a former ENA student, spent his entire career in the media industry within the Bolloré Group, which he joined in 2001 before becoming chairman of the managing board of the Canal+ Group in 2015.
