Marek Bialek has resigned from the position of VP of the board Poland’s ZPR Media Media, responsible for its advertising division.
At the same time, Ewa Latkowska has joined the board, where as VP she will be responsible for TV and video production.
Bialek has now assumed a new role as an advisor to the board and said: “ our task is to use the back office, which today produces materials for TV stations and commercial clients, and then commercialise this segment on a wider scale than before”.
ZPR Media has been an important player in Poland’s TV industry for several years. It founded the channels Polo TV and Eska TV, and subsequently launched the Fokus TV and Vox Music TV in 2014, Nowa TV in 2016 and Eska TV Extra and Eska Rock TV in 2017.
In December 2017 Polsat acquired 100 per cent of Eska TV, Eska TV Extra, Eska Rock TV, Polo TV and Vox Music TV, along with 34 per cent of Fokus TV and Nowa TV. However, under the terms of the agreement between the two parties it continues to operate the channels it founded.
ZPR Media is also engaged in the production of TV content.
