Audiovisual media services in Lithuania generated total revenues of €129,766,573 in 2017, according data published by the country’s Radio and Television Commission (LRTK).
TV broadcasting activities accounted for €54,639,369 (42.1%) of the total and retranmitted TV services €67,379,485 (51.9%), with radio broadcasting claiming the remaining €7,747,719 (6%).
TV broadcasting generated much higher revenues in Q4 (€17,183,661) than in Q1 (€12,264,918), as did radio broadcasting (€225,778 v €1,628,850), while those for retransmitted TV services were only slighly higher (€17,124,414 v €16,618,714).
