German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland will dedicate a pop-up channel to French filmmaker Luc Besson.
Sky Cinema Luc Besson HD will screen 16 Besson productions 24 hours per day. The highlight will be the German TV premiere of Besson’s new science fiction film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets on May 6, 2018, the most expensive European film of all time.
Sky Cinema Luc Besson HD will replace Sky Cinema Hits from May 4 to 13, 2018. Many of the films will also be available mobile and on demand through Sky Go, Sky On Demand and Sky Ticket.
