The Russian DTH platform operator Orion has significantly expanded its Telekarta service.
This follows the introduction of a new programme package named Leader that contains over 200 of the most popular channels.
The package is distinguished by its strong regional component, which includes entertainment, film and news channels from the Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and Novosibirsk regions, as well as the Krasnoyarsk territory and other parts of Russia.
The Leader package costs R1,990 (€28.1) for the first year, followed by R249 a month for an unlimited renewal period.
Leader is the fourth package in Telekarta’s product line and Dmitry Zichin, Orion’s marketing director, expects subscribers to the Standard package to opt for it for a small additional as its offer is much more comprehensive.
