content4tv signs up eight distribution partners

March 16, 2018 10.54 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

The strong interest of German city carriers in offering IPTV in addition to internet and telephony was reflected at the recent trade fair BREKO Glasfasermesse 2018, reports TV channel carriage rights provider content4tv.

The company has signed contracts with six city carriers and the distribution partners purtel.com and Ocilion. Further fibre-optic network and cable operators informed themselves at the fair about content4tv’s solutions for a state-of-the-art IPTV service covering all current TV usage forms, from smart TV to smartphones.

“The network operators see the high flexibility of our content proposition as the most important unique selling point of content4tv, also regarding differentiation in competition,” Martina Rutenbeck, Managing Partner of content4tv, sums up the discussions at the exhibition stand.

“And even more important: As a firmly B2B-oriented partner of municipal utility providers and platform operators, content4tv does not pursue its own B2C ambitions,” stressed Rutenbeck. “Our partners do therefore not have to fear that we will compete with them for end customers.”
