The Belarusian incumbent Beltelecom has added a new programme package to its IPTV service Smart Zala.
Known as ‘More TV’, it consists of 11 channels from different genres and is designed to appeal to the widest possible audience.
The channels include Mult, Cartoon Network and Boomerang (kids); Russian Musicbox (SD version); Techno 24, My Planet, Sarafan, Science, NSTV and Eureka (documentary and entertainment; and Nostalgia (for older viewers).
More TV is being made available free of charge during a test period that ends on April 28.
Broadband TV News notes that Beltelecom had a combined total of 1.6 million subscribers to its TV services, which include Smart Zala, at the end of last year.
Its broadband subscriber total stood at 2.4 million.
