Maciej Bral to head Fox in CE

Maciej Bral has been appointed the general director of Fox Networks Group in Central Europe.

In his new role, effective March 1, he will be responsible for the development, implementation and communication of the strategic goals of all FNG and National Geographic Partners (NGP) companies in the region, which encompasses Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Based in Warsaw, he will report to Carlos Ortega, the VP of FNG in CE.

Commenting on the appointment, Ortega said: “We are constantly developing operations in Central Europe, and Maciej brings to our company an extremely valuable, varied experience that will allow him to quickly enter a new role and get instant results. We are very pleased that he will join our team to lead the FNG company in Central Europe”.

Bral has worked in the industry for over 20 years. He was most recently at The Walt Disney Company, where based in London, his role included being the DG for Disney Channels in CEE and Emerging Markets. His key projects during many years spent at The Walt Disney Company included the launch of the FTA Disney Channel in Turkey, the rebranding of Jetix and expansion of Disney into all the markets he was responsible for.

Bral said: “Fox Networks Group has in its portfolio unique television brands that have a huge impact on the market and the audience around the world .I am very happy that I will be part of their further expansion in the Central European markets, which are characterised by huge growth dynamics and have great potential”.
