Attempts at mediation between Mediaset and Vivendi have formally ended.
The two companies have been in dispute over Vivendi’s April 2016 bid for DTT pay platform Mediaset Premium, which collapsed the following August leading Mediaset to file a suit against Vivendi for allegedly pulling out of the deal.
Lawyers for the two companies had been attempting to pull through an out of court settlement.
A court hearing is now scheduled for next Tuesday.
