HBO, AXN join Cyfrowy Polsat’s new look ipla

February 22, 2018 11.33 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Poland’s Cyfrowy Polsat has significantly revamped its SVOD service Ipla.

Boasting a new look site (www.ipla.tv), it now also includes a new package named Ipla HBO, which contains five HBO channels (HBO HD, HBO 2 HD, HBO 3 HD, Cinemax HD and Cinemax 2 HD), along with four AXN channels (AXN HD, AXN Spin HD, AXN Black and AXN White).

Ipla HBO, costing PLN35 (€8.4) a month, in addition includes a library of thousands of films and series from HBO that will continue to be increased in size.

Ipla now also includes a new package named Ipla Extra Premiery. Costing PLN10 a month, or PLN5 a month for Plus customers, it offers viewers the chance to watch series and programmes before they are shown by Polsat.

A further new package, named Ipla TV, consists of 87 channels of various genres. It costs PLN50 a month for the first three months, followed by PLN60 a month thereafter, with Plus and Cyfrowy Polsat being offered the package at half these prices.
