German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland will transmit a handball match in Ultra HD resolution for the first time in Germany.
The game between SG Flensburg-Handewitt (Germany) and KS Kielce (Poland) takes place on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at this year’s season opening of the EHF Champions League. Sky will transmit the match – produced by EHF Marketing – live from the Flens-Arena in German town Flensburg from 18.45 CET on its Sky Sport UHD channel.
The live game will also be shown in SD and HD quality on Sky Sport 1 and Sky Sport 1 HD respectively.
Sky Sport UHD is available in Germany on the Astra satellite system (19.2° East), on the cable networks of Vodafone (formerly Kabel Deutschland) and Unitymedia and on Deutsche Telekom’s IPTV platform Entertain TV.
