A US court has upheld a request by Digi to annul a claim of $1.8 million made against it by a group of US businessmen in 2017.
ZF reports that the claim, made specifically against RCS&RDS, RCS Management and Digi Communications, was dismissed on the grounds that it lacked material substance.
It adds that the judgement can now be appealed within 30 days.
The claim relates to the failure to reimburse the applicants for their investment and share capital in a company named i-TV Digitalis Tavkozlesi Zrt.
Digi (RCS&RDS) is the leading provider of pay-TV services in Romania and also has a strong presence in neighbouring Hungary.
