TF1 Group is seeking damages against Orange after the operator continued to distribute its channels, despite the failure to reach an agreement on carriage fees.
Last week, said TF1 regretted being unable to reach an agreement, two years after initial discussions about an enhanced version of the MYTF1 catch-up service and new TF1 Premium got underway.
But Orange has so far refused to pull the channels as requested by the Bouygues Group subsidiary.
French media is reporting TF1 to be seeking several million Euros in compensation. But with no hearing date set, the door remains open to a possible resolution.
Agreements for the new TF1 offer have already been made with Altice-SFR and Bouygues Telecom.
